Griffith (donor of Los Angeles' Griffith Park) shot his wife, Crazy Drunk chronicles the sensational trial that ensued from the point of view of Griffith's celebrated attorney, Earl Rogers, and Rogers' daughter, who grew up to be the famous Hollywood journalist Adela Rogers St. Johns.
