A Historical Extravaganza

In celebration of Harlem Week, the producers of "Cafe Millennium", The Live Theater Gang, presents an afternoon of historical entertainment featuring two shows with over 30 portrayals of some of Harlem's most fascinating heroes. First up is "Great Women of Color" an amazing tribute to Zora Neal Hurston, Queen Mother Moore, Sarah Vaughan, Celia Cruz, Madame C.J. Walker, Katherine Dunham and many other legends that have graced Harlem with their presence. "Great Women" includes over 16 legendary impersonations with stories of their individual struggles and triumphs. Following "Great Women" is "Great Men of Color". Witness the likes of James Baldwin, Don Pedro Albizu Campos, Countee Cullen, Sammy Davis Jr, Duke Ellington, Marcus Garvey, Adam Clayton Powell, Jr., Malcolm X, and more. Imagine meeting all these great people at one time! The Los Angeles Dramalogue called this show, "Enthralling and Enervating. Heart-wrenching, Yet Strangely elevating". Each show is different so you won't want to miss any of this limited engagement!
