FEATURE FILMS

21, based on the book Bringing Down the House: The Inside Story of Six MIT Students Who Took Vegas for Millions, published in 2002. Blood: The Last Vampire, the live-action English-language remake of the hit Japanese animated film about a vampire employed by the U.S. government to hunt demons in post–World War II Japan. The Dark is Rising, based on the 1973 novel by Susan Cooper, about an 11-year-old boy who discovers that he is the last member of a group of immortal humans dedicated to fighting the forces of evil. The Express, based on the 1983 book Ernie Davis: The Elmira Express, the Story of a Heisman Trophy Winner, which tells the story of the first black man to win the Heisman Trophy who was subsequently diagnosed with leukemia and never got to play professional football. NEW I Know Who Killed Me, a psychological thriller about a young woman who is abducted and tortured by a serial killer. After being rescued, she claims to be someone else, raising mysterious questions. Lindsay Lohan stars under the direction of Chris Sivertson. Jeffrey Hammond is the screenwriter. In the Valley of Elah, a mystery thriller that follows a father's search for his son, an Iraq veteran who has mysteriously gone missing. Based on a Playboy investigative article that told the true story of a father who rejected the Army's claim of AWOL status for his son and uncovered a murder. Keep Coming Back, a drama that revolves around a teenager whose heart beats super fast whenever he's in a state of passion or terror. Under doctor's orders to lead a dull and bland life, the boy finds himself risking his life by falling in love. Victor Rasuk and Salma Hayek are set to star, with William H. The Mist, a horror film based on a Stephen King short story of the same name that takes place in a small town the day after a mysterious storm. A group of townspeople find themselves trapped in a local supermarket besieged by strange, deadly creatures that arrived with the storm. Frank Darabont wrote the screenplay and is directing. Semi Pro, a comedy that revolves around an owner-coach-player on a basketball team playing during the last year of the now-defunct American Basketball Association. He sets off on a desperate attempt to propel his losing team into the big league NBA. Will Ferrell and Woody Harrelson star. Kent Alterman directs the script by Scot Armstrong. Untraceable, a thriller that centers on an FBI cyber cop as she tracks down a ruthless online predator. Gregory Hoblit is directing and Diane Lane is set to star. The Big Bang Theory, a half-hour comedy pilot for CBS that revolves around two brilliant physicists who meet a woman who helps them discover the true meaning of life. NEW Breaking Bad, a one-hour drama for AMC about a high school chemistry teacher who discovers that he is terminally ill and winds up manufacturing crystal meth as a way to help his family. Burn Notice, a one-hour drama for the USA Network about a blacklisted special ops agent who is on a quest to discover the reason for the "burn notice" that ended his spying career, as well as to help others who can't turn to the police. Conspiracy, a one-hour drama for Lifetime about a young Washington lawyer who, after winning a case against a large pharmaceutical company, learns that her client was guilty and that her own prestigious law firm is involved in the conspiracy. Imperfect Union, , a single-camera romantic comedy for TBS that revolves around a young woman who takes over the job of shop steward from her retired father, and a young man who takes over the factory from his father. The Meant To Be's, a one-hour romantic drama for CBS that centers on a young woman who dies but, in order to "pass over," must return to earth to help people improve their lives. The Minister of Divine, a multicamera comedy pilot for Fox based on the British series The Vicar of Dibley. Andy Barker, P.I., a comedy for NBC about a hard-working accountant who is mistaken for the retired private detective who used to occupy his office. He decides to go with the flow and take the case.
