ddleback Civic Light Opera is celebrating their 25th Anniversary Season with shows suitable for the entire family. TINTYPES, a retrospective of early American music opened the season in the cabaret theater. Next up is PETER PAN, which opens this July, and closing the season is one of America's most beloved musicals, THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Suggested by 'The Story of the Trapp Family Singers,' Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II created a truly beautiful score, with book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, that is beloved around the world. Now it is time for the stage at the McKinney Theater to come alive with 'The Sound of Music,' 'My Favorite Things,' 'Sixteen Going on Seventeen,' 'Do-Re-Mi,' and 'Edelweiss.'
