Back Stage and The Hollywood Reporter invite you to join Lars and the Real Girl director Craig Gillespie for a screening on Monday, Dec. 10, in Los Angeles.
The comedy-drama tells the story of Lars (Ryan Gosling), an introvert who falls in love with a life-size doll named Bianca. Hoping to help Lars, the family doctor urges the young man's family and friends to play along with his delusion.
Directed by Craig Gillespie (Mr. Woodcock) and written by former Six Feet Under writer Nancy Oliver, Lars stars Ryan Gosling (Half Nelson), Emily Mortimer (Match Point), Paul Schneider (Live Free or Die), Kelli Garner (Thumbsucker), and Patricia Clarkson (Good Night, and Good Luck).
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Gillespie. Back Stage National Film & TV Editor Jenelle Riley will moderate.
The event will be held Monday, Dec. 10, 7:30 p.m., at the Westside Pavilion Landmark Theatre, 10850 West Pico at Westwood Blvd., Los Angeles, Calif.
