How to Submit Your Photo
Do you have a digital camera and enjoy taking photographs? Here's a chance to see your photos published! Back Stage is looking for photos that convey the life of an actor in all its diversity.
If you've taken a digital photo of your fellow thespians at work or at play, email it to us at
backstage@backstage.com. Write "Community Pics" in the subject line. Photographs should be in JPEG (.jpg) format and at least 400 pixels wide. With every picture, you
must include:
- Who is in the photo;
- Where and when it was taken (including name of place, cross-streets, date and time of day);
- Who took the picture;
- A short description (10-50 words) of what is happening in the picture.
Note: We do
not pay for photos. However, we will include a photo credit and a short caption with every photo. Not all photos submitted will be published.
READ BEFORE SUBMITTING:
By emailing photos to us, you are giving us permission to use them on our website at any time, free of charge.
We only accept digital photos by email. No prints sent in by mail will be considered.
We do not pay any fee for photos submitted for the Community section.
We reserve the right not to use any photo sent to us without supplying a reason.
We reserve the right to edit or crop photos for purposes of clearer presentation.
You must hold the copyright, or have the copyright holder's permission, to submit the photo.
By submitting a photo, you are acknowledging that you have the permission of all the people viewable in the frame to publish this picture.
We do not accept pictures of anyone under age 18 without expressed written permission from a parent or guardian.
By submitting a photo to us, you agree that you have read, understood and agreed to all the above terms. You agree that BackStage.com, VNU eMedia, Inc., or their affiliated companies shall have no liability from your use of this service.
