SAG's Howard Elected to AFL-CIO Exec. Council

Screen Actors Guild president Ken Howard has been elected to the AFL-CIO executive council. Howard was elected to the position, previously held by former SAG president Alan Rosenberg, at the labor federation's Washington, D.C. meeting Monday.

"It is a privilege to represent Screen Actors Guild members on the Executive Council and to work closely with the leaders of the national labor movement," Howard said in a statement. The SAG president's term on the council will end summer, 2013.
