Production Description

Casting “1460 Sketches of Your Left Hand” for presentation at the UNFringed Festival. A young painter named Alonso invites his college friend Paul to his sister Blanca's ranch for the summer as an artist's retreat. Alonso has a major crush on Paul, who begins falling for Blanca. Blanca puts up with Paul's attentions because he's good for Alonso, who has Temporal Lobe Epilepsy (like Van Gogh) and is bad about taking his medicine when he should. Meanwhile, Blanca's boyfriend Gabriel gets leave for a visit from the army and may have something to say about Paul and Blanca's little affair. Producer states: “Please be aware that this play has sexual content. The playwright has received numerous awards, including the 2012 Fruits of Distinction Award for Best Comedy Skit for ‘Bill's Threesome’ and the 2012 Audience Favorite award for ‘The Tragedy of Dandelion’ at the MT Works NewBorn Festival.”
