Production Description

Casting the non-Equity national tour of “50 Shades! The Musical.” Coordinator states: “’50 Shades! The Musical,’ the original parody of the blockbuster book ‘Fifty Shades of Grey' by E.L. James, is seeking future replacements. This is an irreverent comedy parody of the book - think ‘Book of Mormon’ treatment of the novel. Great voices and comedic sense are hugely important. The show is very silly, funny, and outrageous. Musical and comedic chops a must. The musical opens on a group of suburban book club ladies who are reading ‘Fifty Shades.’ They introduce us to the world of star-crossed lovers Ana and Christian, as well as drunken roommates, lecherous friends, helicopters, and Red Rooms of Pain. It's not necessary (for either actors or audience members) to have read the series.”
