Role Description

Flick: (Chorus / Ensemble) the kid who gets his tongue “stuck” to a flagpole after being “triple dog dared...” Must be a naturally funny kid, with lots of personality, who is off-beat, interesting, and quirky in some way. Seeking all shapes and sizes. He has the soul of an older comedian in the body of a kid. He is effortlessly funny. He is tough on the outside, but a little boy on the inside. In this version, he will sing a song with his tongue “stuck” to a flag pole. He has lots of laugh lines and he sings a lot as well as tap dances. Must be 4’10 or shorter. Vocal Range: Belter (unchanged voice) low B to high C#. Must be able to tap.
