Role Description

Lt. Daniel Kaffee: (Lead) one of the military's top defense lawyers, has a legacy to live up to because his father was considered one of the best lawyers in the history of the military; he's leading the defense of a couple of marines accused of murdering one of their colleagues, he believes it is the powerful Col. Nathan R. Jessep, who ordered them to do it and who should face justice; in this scene, he has just heard that his key witness, his "ace in the hole," has committed suicide, he enters the scene drunk in despair, but by the end of the scene, however, he steels his resolve to go ahead with the case once more.
