Production Description

Casting Rubicon Theatre Company's 2013-14 season, to include "A Moon for the Misbegotten" by Eugene O’Neill, in which two lost souls catch a glimpse of happiness in the moonlight. But is their newly lit fire strong enough to withstand a lifetime of disappointment and regret? Set in and around a dilapidated Connecticut farmhouse in 1923, this American classic follows Josie Hogan, a boisterous Irish woman with a quick tongue and a tender heart; and Jim Tyrone, a tortured soul haunted by the loss of his mother. Pulitzer Prize-winner and Nobel laureate Eugene O'Neill creates a mythic tale of old sins and the power of love. Featuring Joseph Fuqua ("Hamlet," "Picasso at the Lapin Agile") and Granville Van Dusen ("A Delicate Balance").
