Role Description

Historian/Author/Academic-type Interviewee: (Lead) character is a brilliant academic type, a PhD in history or the English classics who has written a best-selling book on the Lincoln assassination, knows the story and is passionate to tell the story as if he/she has lived through it; actor will be interviewed in a sit-down, Ken Burns-type style. Casting personnel state: "You will be working from a script, but you must also be able to improvise some scenes, and through your preparation work, provide a unique voice and perspective to the story. The shoot itself (4-5 hours) is easy, but the prep work will be difficult (lots of reading). So, if you were a good student in college, this role is right up your alley. Even if you weren't, we can whip you into shape (especially if you have the look)."
