Production Description
ACTeen, a three-time Backstage Reader's Choice award-winner, seeks participants for its 2013 summer acting intensives. Director states: "ACTeen, the nation's first on-camera acting program for teens offers full or part-time conservatories. Selected participants receive comprehensive training in film, theater, Meisner, movement, speech, voice, musical theater, auditioning, monologues, Shakespeare, voiceovers, commercials & improvisation taught in multi camera studios by professional staff from theater, casting, film/TV and competitive acting conservatories."
Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Intensives run June 24-July 3, July 8-Aug. 1, Aug. 5-16, or July 13-Aug. 17 (Saturdays only) at ACTeen, 35 W. 45th St. 6th fl., NYC.
Compensation & Union Contract Details
No pay. Fee for workshops range from $375-$2700 (one 16-hr. course is $375, costs vary depending on number of courses taken.) Early-bird discount available through April 15.
