Production Description
Alex Covington is offering one-on-one "Acting Through Song" coaching. Instructor states: "An acting coach should be someone who is working professionally in the art they are cultivating. I am a working actress and musical theater performance coach living in NYC. I work directly with actors to find their natural core in each performance and believe that a true performance should be grounded in honesty and evoke the artist's organic instincts. It's my goal to help you uncover your genuine individuality, because that's what casting directors are looking for. This is not a class. These are private one-on-one sessions designed to focus on you and how to get you centered and ready for your auditions, or solidify your repertoire. There is no right, and there is no wrong, there is only finding your truth in your performance and in that, booking you the job."

Ongoing sessions are held at Ripley-Grier Studios, 520 Eighth Ave. (btwn. 36th & 37th sts.), 16th fl., NYC.
