American Bullshit is a satirical and exaggerated look of the hoops many of us have to jump through in order to become successful in this day and age. Its intention is to bring to the forefront the struggle of many of our recent graduates today and show just how ridiculous and hard it can be just to get your foot in the door. Many do the “right thing” and go to college, educate themselves, and prepare for the real world. For the majority of people, it seems the “right thing” just isn’t good enough.

We must ask ourselves: What exactly is the right thing to do? What is the secret to success? In American Bullshit we see the world through Brandon’s eyes. He is a stand-in for anyone in this day and age who ever tried to do the “right thing” but kept running into road blocks at every turn. Brandon is our ambassador and voice in this often funny but true look at the current socio-economic issues we face today.
