Production Description

Casting "American Dreamland." Synopsis: The film adopts a hyper-link structure, involving three separate groups of friends on one summer night. All three groups of friends are looking for something to do and restless boredom quickly manifests itself in darker, more mischievous ways. The three groups intersect only tangentially, but because they live in the same suburb, their actions often effect the course of events in the other stories. Each group is less innocent, more privileged, more disillusioned, less accountable, and more reckless than the last.
We start off with the “The Felton Boys,” a story about five young men, each with a different background and personality. As they start off the night with nothing to do they soon realize that the night has just begun. Every action's reaction pushes them closer to a point of no return.
The next story, "White Whale," is about four upper class teenagers with little to do but to find trouble. As they cruise the streets, wandering through the night, they encounter several obstacles, each one more compelling and darker than the one before.
The final story, “Pigeon Hill," is about the life of two middle class teenagers, and a day lazy day at the park. The day takes an unexpected turn when they act on their thrill-seeking impulses.
