Production Description

Casting "Atticus," a film about a troubled high school boy named Kyle Foster, who encounters a girl he recently stalked. She convinces him that the only way to be free from confinement and oppression is by organizing a shooting rampage on his classmates. As Kyle records his social interactions and preparations with his camera, he contemplates whether or not this homicidal intention is worth his life.

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Shoots every weekend of July, and the first two weeks of August in Arcadia, Pasadena, and Los Angeles, CA.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

TOM Sides

INT. FOSTER LIVING ROOM (FRONT DOOR) - NIGHT

(In the living room of the Foster house, KATHY stands in the open front door. She watches her son drive away in his car. TOM sits in the couch behind her in stress and anger. He then stands up and slowly paces back and forth from the each side of the couch).

TOM:
"I don’t care! Let him do what he wants. Like you said, he’s 18 years old, he can fucking take care of
himself! Let him die out there in the streets! Shit! He won’t know how good he got it here until he runs into the first sign of danger! Disrespecting me! In my house! I swear... Who the hell does he think he is?"
