The Shakespeare Forum
Claire Warden

Production Description

The Shakespeare Forum will hold an audition and cold reading class. Company states: "In this class we will unpack the process and environment of an audition room and turn it around to serve your needs. We will examine in depth what happens to you, physically, mentally and emotionally in an audition situation and determine what is coming across to the auditors about yourself and your work. We will explore what makes you unique and how to showcase you and your work in the most authentic, open and freeing way. Working on both prepared monologues and cold readings, each week you will begin with mock auditions, after which we will examine your individual process and reactions and your performance in the room. We will work together to find ways to use each stage of the process to allow you to showcase you at your very best."
