Production Description

Casting "Bella's Dream." In 1939 Poland, Bella, has a dream advising her and her husband, Raymond, to leave. They embark on a 10,000 mile journey, much of it on foot, to evade the Nazis. Simultaneously, in a modern supermarket in 2011, Bella and Raymond's son, Ronny, now a man in his 50s, confronts the prejudices that still survive long after WWII is only a memory. The two storylines intertwine throughout the play.

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Rehearsals begin May 12. Performances run June 16-30 on the lower east side, Manhattan.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

Pays $750 stipend. Equity Showcase-NY Contract.
