Casting "Camp David." Production states: "For this world premiere play based on the real—life accounts from the groundbreaking Camp David summit, Pulitzer Prize winner Lawrence Wright weaves personal stories from the Carter administration with passages from exclusive access to both Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter’s diaries and contributions from the Carters themselves. Utilizing the unprecedented access of Gerald Rafshoon, Emmy Award-winning producer and eye-witness to Camp David, the play shares previously undisclosed dramatic events and boasts input and cooperation of all three countries involved."

Synopsis

Sixty two miles north of Washington, DC, nestled in Catoctin Mountain Park, lies the clandestine retreat known as Camp David. For thirteen tumultuous days in 1978, President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn host Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and Egyptian President Anwar Sadat in an attempt to create peace in the Middle East.
