Production Description

Casting the operetta "Candide," based on the famous satire and best-known work by Voltaire. First published in 1759, "Candide" is the story of its central character who travels throughout Europe and South America experiencing and witnessing much misfortune on the way.

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Rehearsals begin this November; runs Jan. 30-February 22, 2015, in San Francisco, Walnut Creek, & Mountain View, CA.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

Stipends for leads will range from $250-$750, depending on size and difficulty of role, and whether double-cast. All chorus singers will be offered expense reimbursement up to $150, to help offset costs such as purchasing scores, tights, footwear, voice lessons, coaching, travel and lodging, etc.
