Production Description

Cortland Repertory Theatre is casting nonunion actors for its 43rd summer season. Season includes: "Boeing Boeing" (Marc Camoletti, playwright; translated by Beverly Cross and Francis Evans; Dustin Charles, dir.), "All Shook Up" (Joe DiPietro, book; featuring the songs of Elvis Presley; Bert Bernardi, dir.), "Les Misérables" (Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, book; Claude-Michel Schönberg, music; Herbert Kretzmer, lyrics; Sam Scalamoni, dir.), "Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Jersey Lily" (Katie Forgette, playwright; Bill Kincaid, dir.), "Making God Laugh" (Sean Grennan, playwright; Jim Bumgardner, dir.) and "Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash," (created by Richard Maltby, Jr.; conceived by William Meade; Brian Swasey, dir.).

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

"Boeing Boeing" (May 20-June 14), "All Shook Up" (June 3-July 5), "Les Miserables" (June 19-July 26), "Sherlock Holmes" (July 15-Aug. 9), "Making God Laugh" (July 29-Aug. 23), "Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash" (Aug. 12-Sept. 13). All rehearsals and performances will be held in Cortland, NY.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

Competitive pay varies per role requirements and experience. $100 stipend for travel to Cortland, plus housing (single room/shared suite) provided.
