Production Description

Casting a non-Equity production of "Crossing Verrazano." Synopsis: "Anthony Fusco(playwright/director) created this story as a 20-minute one act play back in 2011 for the Strawberry One Act Festival play competition in NYC. The play was developed into an 80-minute full length play last year. It ran at the Nuyorican Poets Café in the summer and received great audience reviews. The work is a drama based on a true incident that occurred in New York City back in October 2010. Casey, Bryan, and Trevor, three young men from L.A. visit NYC for a weekend of fun, to celebrate Casey Campbell’s 25th birthday. Their first stop was the legendary Stonewall Bar, where they met up with two new friends from Staten Island, Mario and Bruno, who turn their lives around. What really happened that night? A play about love, lust, hatred, and sexuality."
