Production Description

Casting “Crossing Verrazano,” a powerful 75-minute drama based on a true incident that took place in October 2010 in Greenwich Village. The play tells the story of a gay couple who visit NYC with their best friend to celebrate a birthday and try to fix their complicated relationship. At legendary gay bar The Stonewall Inn, they encounter some new friends from Staten Island who change their lives forever. A story based on love, lust, trust, and dealing with reality in today’s society. The play received a best director nomination at the Strawberry One Act Festival in Summer 2011.



Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Limited rehearsals begin June 17. Performances run Wednesday evenings July 24-Aug. 28 (tentative), with a possible extension, in NYC.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

Transportation will be provided to Union talent. Equity Showcase approval pending.
