Production Description

Seeking dancers to debut in a new operetta. Production states: "This will be a debut of new work by award winning composer Tony Small being commissioned by the Smithsonian to debut at the Kennedy Center in September 2014. The work was commissioned by the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art with featured artistic direction from world renowned mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves. Featured choreographers include Ray Mercer ('Lion King'), Oscar Hawkins (Kirov Ballet & Cirque du Soleil) and Alvaro Maldonado (Ballet Teatro Internacional)."

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Rehearses March-May; evening rehearsals begin July 1-Aug. 8; runs September 2014 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

Commensurate with experience and training.
