Role Description

Linton Smith: (Supporting) The surgeon for the regiment. A former medical student with only one year's worth of training under his belt before joining the war. He is very young, and thrown in at the deep end. He is struggling with the real world for the first time, and struggling with the awesome responsibility of being the regiment's chief surgeon, when he was not prepared to be one. He is also a Quaker, and is wrestling with the decision to leave his pacifist beliefs behind to join the war. He has joined up with his brother, and worries constantly about his brother's safety. Yet in spite of this, he is a thoughtful, funny young man. Tends towards sarcasm. A basic ability to play either the flute or recorder is a plus for this role, but definitely not a requirement.
