Production Description

Casting "Disclosure," a play to premiere at the San Diego Fringe Festival. Synopsis: "Matthew is in the midst of his youth when he learns that he is HIV positive. After coming to terms with his diagnosis, he has decided to disclose his status to his family, including his anxious sister, his impervious grandfather, and his neurotic mother. To overcome their own stigma and learn what it means to live with HIV in this generation, they will have to solve their differences and function as a family."

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Table read is approx. late-May 2014; rehearsals begin early-June 2014 three times/wk.; performs July 2, 4 & 5, 7, 10, 12 at the Spreckles Theatre in San Diego, CA. Note: see below for exact performance times.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

Pays: stipend.

About The arcHIVe project

The arcHIVe project is a HIV/AIDS art and education nonprofit dedicated to eliminating the stigmas and stereotypes of HIV/AIDS through art and personal narrative. We envision a day when those affected by HIV can live without fear or discrimination. We further believe that a greater understanding of these diseases will lower rates of new infections and bring about a HIV-free world.
