Role Description

Jane/Annie: (Lead) belt or strong mixer. Jane (Andy’s wife) is a strong, no-nonsense, hard-drinking challenge to Andy. NRA-member, and member of a very large family from South Dakota. She wanted many more children with Andy, but it never worked out. Somewhat older than Andy. Annie (Andy’s girlfriend) is the opposite of Jane. Where Jane is terse and tense, Annie is whimsical and affectionate. She knows better than Andy how good she is for him, despite her irksome tendency towards malapropism. Equally irksome is the fact that she refers to herself in the third person. She and Andy won't ever marry, but they'll be together for a long time.
