Production Description

Casting a brand new and outrageous musical comedy, "Elephant Stew," set in the quiet setting of a NYC suburb, in the style of the Marx Brothers. Company states: "The year is 1932 and the location is the salon in the mansion of the poor, poor, widow Worthington. An evil banker is trying to snatch away her beautiful family mansion and her fancy restaurant because of a gambling debt owed by her now nowhere-to-be-found brother. Her faithful gardener Pastolini, (not a genius), along with his mute, (not so bright), brother Dinky, are not able to help her. They call their friend Willy B. Sliperee to come to help them. Needless to say, after that, all heck breaks loose and the result is pure comedy madness. In between the dialogue there are songs and a wonderful new score. It’s as if you’re watching a film on stage."
