Peter Sweeny: (Supporting) served as the district attorney in New York during the 1860's until he was taken down with Tweed, Tweed's confidant and the legal council for Tammany Hall, the political machine that ran New York politics, at one time, the newspapers thought he was the brains of the operation, which he found amusing.
