Production Description

Casting "Fiddler on the Roof," the heartwarming, Tony Award-winning musical about the milkman, Tevye, and his family in the Jewish community of Anatevka in Tsarist Russian. Synopsis: "Tevye strives to keep up the traditions of his faith and culture against the backdrop of discrimination and prejudice. Of utmost concern to Tevye and his wife Golde is finding their five daughters appropriate husbands in order to have a fulfilling life. The musical is a story of humor, conflict, and love."

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

First read-through is May 17 at 12 p.m.; rehearses Mon.-Thurs. evenings and Sat. and Sun. mornings in Long Beach, CA. Actors will not be called for every rehearsal. Performs July 12-Aug. 23 (Friday and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m.) in Long Beach, CA.
