Production Description
The Winter Park Playhouse is casting its 2013 season. Season includes "8 Track: The Sounds of the 70s," conceived by Rick Seeber, and musical arrangements by Michael Gribbin (Rehearsals begin June 3; runs June 21-30 and July 11-20, one-week hiatus July 1-7), "Forever Plaid," written and originally directed by Stuart Ross (Rehearsals begin July 15; runs Aug. 1-24), "Crazy for Gershwin," conceived by Roy Alan, musical arrangements by Chris Leavy, and narrative by Todd Allen Long (Rehearsals begin Oct. 28; runs Nov. 14-24 and Dec. 5-14), "Breakin' Up is Hard to Do," book by Erik Jackson and Ben H. Winters, music by Neil Sedaka, lyrics by Neil Sedaka, Howard Greenfield, and Phillip Cody (Rehearsals begin Jan. 6, 2014; runs Jan. 23-Feb. 15, 2014), "Sisters of Swing: The Story of the Andrew Sisters," written by Beth Gilleland and Bob Beverage, musical arrangements and continuity by Raymond Berg (Rehearsals begin Feb. 17, 2014; runs Mar. 6-29, 2014), and "Forbidden Broadway's Greatest Hits," created & written by Gerald Alessandrini (Rehearsals begin April 7, 2014; runs Apr. 24-May 17).
