Production Description

Casting "Fourteen Hundred and Sixty Sketches of Your Left Hand," a new play.
Synopsis: A young painter named Alonso invites his college friend Paul to his sister Blanca's ranch for the Summer as an artist's retreat. Alonso has a major crush on Paul, who begins falling for Blanca. Blanca puts up with Paul's attentions because he's good for Alonso, who has Temporal Lobe Epilepsy (like Van Gogh) and is bad about taking his medicine when he should. Meanwhile, Blanca's boyfriend Gabriel gets leave for a visit from the army and may have something to say about Paul and Blanca's little affair. Note:
Play has sexual content. Script available upon request. Playwright has received numerous awards, including the 2012 Fruits of Distinction Award for Best Comedy Skit for "Bill's Threesome" and the 2012 "Audience Favorite" award for "The Tragedy of Dandelion" at the MT Works NewBorn Festival.



Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Rehearses nights and weekends in Queens; runs for four performances late Aug. as part of the first annual UNFringed Theatre Festival at The Secret Theatre in Long Island City, Queens.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

Pays: $50 stipend provided.
