Production Description

Seeking participants for a free seminar with TAPNYC Theatre Company artistic director Bobby Holder, author of "Out of the Blue." This free seminar will cover the topics of landing representation in commercials, film, television, print, and theater through industry showcases, plays, and private coaching. Company states: "The Actor's Project NYC (TAPNYC) is a company that assists its members in landing agents and getting work through industry showcases and plays, and is currently casting full-length theatrical showcases of music, scenes, monologues, and sketch comedy--all original works by company writers. We are also casting other showcases and original plays. TAPNYC shows are always attended by agents and managers. Actors who register for the seminar will receive a ticket to see an upcoming show of The Actor's Project NYC, plus be in the drawing for a free two-month private coaching program with Bobby Holder. Space is limited, so register today."

Seminars will be held approx. once a month in NYC.

Note: This is a free seminar, but if participants audition to join TAPNYC and are accepted, membership dues are $375 per season (averages less than $25/week). Dues include agent/manager coaching, resume workshops, branding yourself workshops, and a comp ticket to The Acting Career Seminar, where company members meet with a commercial agent, a legit agent, and a talent manager.
