Role Description

Child Jim: (Supporting) an 8-year-old in the South in 1938, an independent boy, not educated and rarely looked after, but who has a zest for life. He befriends Winston, also African-American, a cook at a diner and Evaline, Caucasian, the waitress at the same diner. Jim sees Evaline in a compromising position with the diner's owner and runs to tell Winston what he sees.
