Casting "Freshman Inventors: What They Don't Teach You in School," a reality show that allows freshman inventors to submit their ideas in various categories to be judged on uniqueness and commercial potential.

About the Show

Young, (9-28 years old) proven entrepreneurs explore the process of taking a product or idea from concept to completion. Competition winners will appear on the show, to be mentored by the proven young inventors. Follow up segments will track the progress of the winning ideas, showing patent process, manufacturing and distribution of products. Each week the “top” winning entrepreneur will receive a cash prize and the opportunity to get a “first look” from a national distributor, such as Idea Village or Allstar. The final four will receive a prize such as the building of a unique website for their product or idea. Deja Viau (age 14) and Canyon Viau (age 12), sibling inventors of, BackPal,and, will host the pilot and potentially the series. Young inventors and teen celebrities will guest host.
