Production Description

Casting "Fugitive" a staged reading. Synopsis: In a Times Square hotel room, playwright Tom Williams, bloodied, bound and gagged, is left for dead. It’s New York City, 1943, shortly after the fiasco of his first major play production. Over three days and nights, through conversations, dreams and hallucinations, he delves into the darkness of his past, guided by his beloved clinically insane sister Rose, to uncover the raw material for his first masterpiece. Rose’s sacrifice will ultimately release Tom from bondage, and bring to life the fugitive writer known as Tennessee Williams.
