Production Description

Casting "Hell's Heart," a feature film. 23 years ago, Martin Cole was a young boy with a crush on his grown-up neighbor, Lisa, until she was murdered right in front of him. Now an adult, Martin is engaged to Lisa’s daughter, but after a horrible mistake, he becomes convinced that he’s demonically possessed by Lisa’s spirit, opening old painful wounds for her family and rekindling his first love.

Director Bio

Hell’s Heart is the third feature film from director Ryan Denmark. He premiered his first two feature films at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2009 and 2010, which, along with his currently touring short film, “Plush”, have played at over thirty international film festivals. Also an accomplished editor, his feature documentary, BILL CUNNINGHAM NEW YORK, enjoyed great critical and box office success, receiving nominations at the Independent Spirit Awards and the Gotham Awards in addition to being short-listed for the Oscars. Over the last decade, he's served as the associate editor on numerous Spike Lee films. Last season, he worked as the visual effects editor on "Boardwalk Empire." Currently, he resides in New York where he’s engaged as an additional editor on Spike Lee’s remake of OLDBOY.
