Role Description

Polonius: (Supporting) a senatorial candidate, Polonius is Gertrude's willing right hand man in several dark matters. He wants very much to marry Gertrude and unite the families for not only appearances, but, because he carries a torch for her. At Gertrude's request, he has hired someone to spy on Hamlet and uncover his whereabouts. The actor playing Polonius may also have the opportunity to play the Blind Man in several bar scenes. Where Polonius lacks in paternal compassion and awareness, the Blind Man does not. The actor must be versatile and able to go in and out of accents.
