Role Description

Swing/Tommy Understudy/Buddy and Roy Understudy : to cover the onstage ensemble and the featured ensemble roles of Tommy and Buddy/Roy (Two sides of a very shiny coin. Buddy Rocky is the echt Vegas lounge singer; beneath his slick veneer is yet another slick veneer. Roy Bacon is the shit-kicking head of the Flying Elvis skydivers. His second act “Higher Love” is “Honeymoon’s” “Sit Down You’re Rocking the Boat”). Big baritone with fantastic top notes. Low G to high A. Should be a riveting voice, top to bottom. Needs to do amazing Las Vegas crooner (ala Steve Lawrence) in Act 1, and the embodiment of Elvis in Act 2. Needs to be adept at covering multiple and complex harmony parts/tracks. Major singing track. This is an offstage track. Ensemble.
