Role Description

B-Boy Joel: (Lead) teenage breakdancer with Sickle Cell Anemia. Passionate, light-hearted, with a streak of seriousness about life and possibility. He understands his situation and lives his life to the fullest. Wise beyond his years. Funny, dead-serious when he wants to be, must be able to act, break, pop and rap well. Spoken word skills a plus.
