Casting "I Didn’t Know My Own Strength" and "While U Were Preaching," two plays. Synopsis: "I Didn’t Know My Own Strength" centers around two families who discover an illness feared by millions, that for years has been known as a tragic death sentence. The production is filled with many nuances that explode the minds and plumbs the heart of how these families handles and deals with the tragic news revealed. Synopsis of "While U Were Preaching": The leader of the house of God finds himself astray. In his pursuit of repentance and the cleansing of his soul that has been tarnished by his lustful sins, he discovers that while his creator’s benevolence toward the weak is an attitude of endless consolation, his mistress’ incessant appetite for their forbidden union and his faithful wife’s resentment for his polygamous deed shall require more than his resolve to gain back his long-standing triumph as preacher, father, and husband, and a highly revered man of God. Will he ever stand before his congregation again, upright and swollen with pride? Or shall he lead a life of indignity, guilt, and isolation?

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Rehearsals to begin immediately after Labor Day weekend in the NYC area/NJ.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

Some pay provided; actors will be paid within 48-72 hours after each performance with an increase per production.
