Role Description

Sir Nathanial: (Supporting) An educated man of the cloth/village preacher who's able to speak enough Latin to keep up with Holofernes, he's definitely subservient in that relationship, lapping up every long-winded word the schoolteacher utters. His featured moment toward the end of the play comes when he reads Berowne's letter to Rosaline, mistakenly received by Jaquenetta. Because he is celibate and prudish, this recitation of the sweet talk makes him very uncomfortable, adding a lot of humor to his role.
