Role Description

Heather Jones: (Lead) a singer and performer who has had some commercial success with her hit song “In A Simple Way I Love You”. We find Heather in a nightclub in 1978 on her 39th birthday. She has decided, being almost 40 years old, that the time has come for a change. Her new act will now be about the emancipation and liberation of women. Her longtime manager who has come to take a look at the new act and is desperate for her to return to the old tried and true material. Heather ultimately decides to split with her manager, whom she is also in love with, and go on to perform her own show. Must be a fantastic singer and actress.
