Production Description
A Class Act NY, an acting studio for kids and teens, is seeking participants for its upcoming workshop with a casting associate from Telsey + Company. Company states: "Work on material from a Broadway hit with Cesar Rocha, C.S.A. of Telsey + Company. This class will focus on a song-and-dance combo taught by a Broadway actor, and musical theater audition technique, in which participants will bring in 16 bars of a musical theater song they like to use for auditions and receive feedback and coaching from Cesar and the artistic team. The class will culminate in a mock audition for Mr. Rocha, who is always on the lookout for new talent. Some of Telsey's current projects include 'Annie,' 'Newsies,' 'Wicked,' Spider-Man,' and 'Tuck Everlasting.'"
Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Class will be held May 4, 1-5 p.m. at Ripley-Grier Studios, 520 Eighth Ave. (btwn. 36th & 37th sts.), 16th fl., NYC.
