Production Description

Casting "La Gradución," a short student film for the University of Arizona based on a true story. Synopsis: Freshly graduated from medical school, Ignacio grudgingly drives across Mexico in his brand new BMW to start a hospital job arranged for him by his father. He’s stopped at a fake checkpoint in the deserts of Sonora where two corrupt federal officers shoot him in the leg and steal his car. Stranded in the middle of nowhere, Ignacio is forced to tend to his very first patient--himself.

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Shoots Nov. 22-24 in southern Arizona--the production is based out of Tucson, AZ.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

Pays: per diem, plus travel and reimbursement for expenses provided (other compensation open to negotiation). SAG Student Film Agreement.
