Role Description

Miss Willesden : (Supporting) a fantastic and rather tragic figure, like something out of Dickens’ “Bleak House”. Dressed in the fashions of 30 years ago, with chiffon trailing from her hat. Her manner is timid and shrinking, as if she hates to bother the firm with any more of her legal actions. They treat her like a hypochondriac in a doctor’s office, and she knows it. She’s impulsive, and idealistic. Never married, and so directly inherited gobs of money from her father. Slightly dotty, a patron of the arts and of lost causes. Smart and quick, rather than broken-down. R.P. accent.
