Role Description

Alexandra: (Lead) to play 28, has been pregnant for four months. Alexandra firmly believes love should always be passionate and intense, refuses the fact that love will inevitably transform into serene family bond. This serves as the core conflict and throws her into the inevitable abyss. Director states: "The film tracks the transition of a pregnant woman from sanity to her wild hallucination. This will be a huge challenge and also a good opportunity for actors, since the film goes deep into different layers of character’s mental stages. The director is not looking for a stereotypical thrill heroin performance. We would like to work with the actors and discover his/her own method to bring the unconscious self out. 'Repulsion' (1965) and 'Requiem for a Dream' (2000) are good references. Just get the essence, please do not be confined by the performance."

There are two scenes in the script involving with nudity: Alexandra finishes shower, dries herself and take on pajama; a short sex scene which will be shot from a distance. The actor will only need to expose the back, legs and arms. There will be protective methods for the major body parts.
