Production Description
LUMA: Innovative Illuminated Arts is casting its upcoming performance tour. LUMA is a genre of performance art done in the dark with black clad performers handling illuminated objects. Work combines rhythmic gymnastics, dance, puppetry, object manipulations, and experimental methods. Each routine is two-four minutes in length and the full show is 80 minutes long. LUMA has been touring performing art centers since 1998 and has appeared in 13 countries.
Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Rehearsals begin mid-April in L.A.; tours June 5–9 in Israel and June 11–July 7 in Madrid, Spain. A 10-15 week tour of Spain continues November 2013. Other tour dates in the U.S. vary.
Compensation & Union Contract Details
Pays: $850/wk. plus travel and housing.
